Using your GPS or by manually entering a location, you can easily find mailboxes displayed on a visually appealing card format, with the icons color-coded to represent the time of day—yellow in the morning, blue in the afternoon, and red in the evening. Designed for Android, BAL Location enhances ease of navigation by allowing seamless access to MAP, Satellite, and Street views, combined with practical features such as hours of operation.

Augmented Reality Experience

Expand your interaction with mail features using Augmented Reality (AR), although this requires additional installation of Wikitude. This immersive experience brings a modern twist to traditional mailbox searching, making BAL Location a cutting-edge tool for residents and travelers alike. The app covers numerous cities, including Paris, Lyon, and Marseille, to name a few, providing comprehensive coverage across France with real-time updates and intuitive navigation to locate mail services efficiently.

Adaptable and Expanding Database

While BAL Location already boasts extensive coverage of 102,500 mailboxes, user involvement is encouraged to further enrich the database. Currently, approximately 130,000 mailboxes exist in France, and contributions will help map all. Users can assist by providing details such as coordinates and collection times, fostering a community-driven platform that ensures up-to-date information.

Future Developments

Although currently available for Android, an iOS version is in development, promising to deliver the same informative and dynamic experience to a broader audience.
